Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the ability of a computer or a robot controlled by a computer to do tasks that are usually done by humans because they require human intelligence and discernment. Although there are no AIs that can perform the wide variety of tasks an ordinary human can do, some AIs can match humans in specific tasks.
Artificial Intelligence (AI), the ability of a digital computer or computer-controlled robot to perform tasks commonly associated with intelligent beings.
AI is a broad field that aims to create intelligent systems that can perform tasks that typically require human-level intelligence, such as language translation, image recognition, decision-making, and natural language processing. AI systems can be designed to work in different ways, including rule-based systems that follow predetermined sets of rules, and machine learning systems that learn from data.
Machine Learning, on the other hand, is a subset of AI that focuses on creating systems that can learn from data without being explicitly programmed. Machine learning algorithms can analyze data, identify patterns, and make decisions based on the data they have analyzed. Machine learning algorithms are classified into three main categories: supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning.
Supervised learning algorithms are trained on labeled data, which means that the algorithm is provided with inputs and the desired outputs. The algorithm learns to map inputs to outputs based on the training data. Common examples of supervised learning include image classification and language translation.
Unsupervised learning algorithms are trained on unlabeled data, which means that the algorithm has to identify patterns and relationships in the data on its own. The most common examples of unsupervised learning include clustering and anomaly detection.
